For years savvy divers have been traveling to the tiny island of Bonaire about 70 miles off the coast of Venezuela for some of the best shore diving in the world. Bonaire has been a marine park for about 40 years 
now and the reefs are pristine and the marine life plentiful. For those that like to boat dive there are trips each day to dive sites around the island and trips to Klien Bonaire the small island near the leeward side of the island daily.
