The Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest recreational rating a diver can obtain. It denotes a high level of knowledge in the academics of diving and expertise in diving skills.

The Master Scuba Diver rating is achieved by advancing through the Rescue Diver certification and completing five specialty courses. If a diver is not interested in working with student divers or supervising certified divers but still wants the extra training this is the path to follow.
