Here are two courses you can take in the winter and you don’t even have to get wet.

Extend your dive time with Enriched Air!

Enriched Air Diver is PADI’s most popular specialty, and it’s easy to see why. You can typically dive longer, enjoy a shorter surface interval and get back in the water sooner. An enriched air certification is so beneficial, many divers choose it as their very first specialty.  Complete the academic portion of your training online, then come in to the shop for a short practical session. Any certified diver can take the course and there are no dives required for certification and you can do the class on your schedule. Cost is $235

There is something exciting about diving a natural wreck with history behind it. The Empire Mica is a wreck with a lot of history attached to it. The tanker was sunk by a German U boat in June of 1942 on it’s way back to Britain with a cargo of kerosene. Gordon Steele’s grandfather was an engineer on the vessel and he set up a website to honor him and the other members of the crew. The website can be found here.

We are running a trip out to explore the Empire Mica Friday Sept25. Saturday we’ll be doing a 3 tank 8hr on some of the wrecks offshore including the the historic wreck of the USS Tarpon. Because this trip is limited to 14 divers we will only offer this trip as a package. For more information please click this link.

We have some great trips planned for Sept. 12-19 2015 and March 19-26, 2016. Little Cayman is rated as one of the top dive destinations in the world. In my opinion it’s the best diving in the Caribbean. The wall starts very shallow on this tiny 3 mile long by 1 mile wide island in one spot in as little as 18ft. Visibility exceeds 100ft and the marine life is abundant. September means calm seas and easy diving. Unfortunately the deadline for signing up for this trip is fast approaching. To reserve your spot we must have a deposit by July 23,2015. For more information go here.
