The new Aqualock wetsuits have come in and if a wetsuit can be gorgeous then these suits are it. I’m more excited about this suit then any of them since the Gold Core came out and everyone who dives with me knows how much I liked it. Here’s the manufacturers description.

Henderson is proud to introduce the Aqua Loc® wetsuit system.The Aqua Loc® System begins with the core jumpsuit.One of the most notable visual feature on the suit is the
Liquid tape Aqua Loc® seams. Every seam on the suits is first double glued and blind stitched inside and out. Then the outer seam is coated with a special waterproof Aqua
Loc® liquid tape barrier which seals the seam from water entry and also helps protect the stitching from damage and unraveling.

The interior of all the core jumpsuits are lined with a Golden micro fleece lining which dries quickly and feels luxurious against the skin. The Aqua Loc® suit exterior features Henderson’s renowned Aquasilk laminate which is also utilized in Henderson’s flagship H2 wetsuit series.
Rear zipper entry assures easy use while the PK G-lock water resistant zipper eliminates unpleasant cold water exchange in the spine and lumbar area. Soft, flexible
and extremely durable Duratex knee pads complete the package.

Litehawk BG

The Litehawk from Scubapro fits the bill for divers who wants the simplicity and the streamlined advantages of a backplate and wings in a lightweight high performance travel BC.  

Features incorporated in to the BC are two moveable accessory pockets, webbing waist belt for a wide range of adjustment, ergonomic harness for even load distribution, rotating quick release shoulder buckles, adjustable shoulder straps and plush back pad. Lift in all sizes is 56lbs. Price with an Air II is $479 or $358 with a balanced inflator. Downside is it’s not a weight integrated BC but quick release weight pockets can be added.
